Join in our 8 days Mt. Animaqing outer loop group tour to experience the exotic holy mountain in Qinghai province. The entire Animaqing range is an eastern extension of the Kunlun Mountains, a major mountain system of Asia. The Animaqing Mountain glaciers are well developed in the modern, more than 50 glaciers, is the largest water sourse of The Yellow River.

Itinerary
Welcome dot Maqin County. Upon arrival, please kindly go to the reserved hotel on your own. Time permitting, you can hang around nearby or relaxt in your hotel. We will have dinner together and afterwards we will have a brief meeting.

Today we will depart at around 8:00am-8:30am. Druing the drive we will see exotic landscapes and landforms. After about 3hrs' drive, we will reach the trekking starting point. Hiking on the soft grassland with rivers and glaciers besides, after 4-5hrs' trek we will reach the base camp of tonight.

Trek: 9km, 5hrs, 500m↑ 200m↓

After breakfast, we will pack our stuff and continue our adventure. Today we will reach the highest point during our trip-Qiaomuqiao Pass 4630m. Stepping on the pass, you will have spectacular view of the main peak (Maqinggangri Glacier) of Animaqing Mountain. Then we will trek down and reach our Muwaduowa Base Camp.
Trek: 17km, 8hrs, 300m↑ 400m↓

Say goodbye to the grand pass and we will step into the hinterland of Animaqing Mountain. Druing today's trek, you can still see the snow mountains standing in the clouds. Tonight we will reach the Zhaxilatang Base Camp for overnight.
Trek: 15km, 7hrs, 200m↑ 400m↓
Meal: Breakfast, Dinner

Today's trekking is relatively easy and relaxing. We will cross the Zhaduitan, a flat, rich and boundless highland pasture. Lucky enough, we can even see some yaks or bharals grazing on the grassland leisurely. Tonight we will camp at the Zhaduitan Base Camp for overnight.
Trek: 14km, 7hrs, 300m↑ 300m↓
Meal: Breakfast, Dinner

Altitude: 3930m
Depart from Zhaduitan BC and trek towards Zhihaidaiji BC. We will trek through the green grasslands, with white snow mountains afar and rivers flowing beside. Later we will reach the Zhihaidaiji Base Camp for overnight.
Trek: 16km, 8hrs, 500m↑ 200m↓
Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
Accommodation: Camp
Altitude: 4350m
After breakfast we will start today's trekking. Trek across the Zhihaidainihe Pass (4550m) and then reach the Halong BC (4150m). Halong Glacier is the biggest glacier of Yellow River Range. Tonight we will camp at the Halong Base Camp and enjoy the wonderful starry night together.
Trek: 16km, 8hrs, 300m↑ 500m↓

Today we will depart from Halong Base Camp at around 8:00am-8:30am. Today is the last trekking day. After we reach the trekking ending point, we will drive back to Maqin County. The estimated arrival time to our hotel would be around 5pm. But the time might be fluctuated depending on the traffic, holidays, weather, etc. Please book next day transport leaving Maqin County
