Best Time to Visit

• Jun - Oct: Blooming flowers and lush greenery in summer; autumn colors in October.
• Jul - Aug: Natural cool retreat with average temperatures of 15-20°C; excellent for escaping summer heat.
• Year-round: Sea of clouds, starry skies, and Tibetan cultural experiences.

Getting Around

• Road: Car rental with driver recommended; some sections like Luoke Road are unpaved and require an SUV.
• Driving Distance: Lanzhou to Labrang Monastery (4 hours); Xiahe to Zhagana (about 5 hours).
• Offline Maps: Download in advance for remote areas with weak signals.
